Despite what I have said in previous posts, I have decided that I simply do not have the time or (what is more important) the energy or motivation to keep up this page. Between work and caring for two small children, my capacity to write is very limited, and I am finding the notion of writing for this Substack an increasingly daunting and tedious prospect, and other writing projects continue to pull my attention in other directions. I have, moreover, largely lost a sense of purpose on these pages, and I have little confidence in the sufficiency of my knowledge to address the topics concerned.
I want to sincerely thank everyone who has taken the time to read this page, and especially those who have so generously offered financial support. This means a great deal. I have already cancelled these subscriptions and refunds should be forthcoming shortly. I haven’t yet decided whether to delete the page entirely or to leave it up. If you have feelings one way or the other, do let me know.
I, as well, understand. I have started, stopped, deleted, several blogs and a substack. The demands of life, sanity, health were never really in accord. And, there were others writing basically the same messages. I would like for you to leave this up, and, if you find time, energy or need, to write on occasion.
Yes! Please do leave it up! I want to revisit many of the pieces on here.
